Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing our digital presence, driving website traffic, and supporting our B2B marketing initiatives. This role requires a blend of technical skills, creativity, and a passion for marketing. Our Marketing Specialist will wear many hats, often work independently, but also be asked to collaborate and work with and lead small groups for various projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Website Management:

• Perform light maintenance and updates on the company's WordPress website to ensure content is current and user experience is optimal.
• Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements in collaboration with the IT team.

2. SEO Optimization:

• Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and ranking.
• Conduct keyword research, optimize website content, and build backlinks to improve SEO performance.

3. Social Media Management:

• Manage and grow the company's social media profiles and presence across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook).
• Plan and execute engaging social media campaigns to increase followers and engagement.
• Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
• Make recommendations and decisions based on industry trends and brand knowledge while meeting KPI’s.

4. Trade Show Support:

• Assist in planning and executing trade show strategies, including booth design, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up.
• Support on-site trade show activities and interact with attendees to promote the brand.

5. Copywriting & Graphic Design:

• Create compelling copy for various marketing materials, including website content, social media posts, and email campaigns.
• Design basic graphics for digital and print marketing collateral as needed, ensuring brand consistency.

6. B2B Marketing Initiatives:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to support all B2B marketing efforts.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new marketing ideas and strategies.
• Assist in the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns to reach potential business clients.
• Develop collateral for customers, showing an understanding of the industry and our business model.
• Make suggestions and recommendations based on industry trends and brand knowledge while meeting KPI’s.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in digital marketing, SEO, and social media management (2-3 years).
• Proficient in using WordPress and understanding of web design principles (2 years).
• Strong copywriting and basic graphic design skills (submit samples upon request).
• Intermediate abilities within Adobe Creative Suite, Google Sheets/Forms, Microsoft Office, WordPress, Constant Contact. Experience with Semrush, Divi, Netsuite, Canva, Later, Monday, Trello, Slack, Dropbox a plus.
• Fast learner, independent worker, creative thinker, and strong communicator.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, think proactively, manage a budget, problem solve, deliver reports, analyze data, be creative.
